In our family there has been many dogs. They have been an important part as our family members. Although I got my own dog at an adulthood. Until then there has been 4 dogs in my life that I would like to present you.
The 1st dog was medium sized with curly reddish coat who was called Muri. He lived from 1979 until 1995 ( died due to the age). In addition to him we took another dog in 1988. The 2nd dog was named Šarik. He was a handsome very high black smooth haired dog, who unfortunately was euthanized due to fracture of the front limb. Our knowledge in veterinary medicine was not good enough that it wasn´t curable at that time.
Next one was a puppy that we bought from the market at 1990. The 3rd dog was named Reku. It was just so small puppy that you could fit him on your palm. We just couldn´t leave him. He was reddish smooth haired dog with docked tail ( his father was english cocker spaniel). He lived with us until 2005, when he was euthanised due to heart insufficiency. The 4th and last dog was a black dog, who had some features similar to german shepherd dog. We took him as he was homeless and we had only one dog at that time ( Reku). He stayed with us from 1995 until 2009. He was let go due to arthrosis that was restricting him to move and to enjoy life.
At 2004 I started to think about my own dog. Of course I looked for many breeds and decided to look for hungarian vizsla puppy as he reminded me of labrador retriever ( labrador was my ideal and dream for many years). I fell in love with the breed as it was shorthaired, with nice character, cooperative and with more slender body. In addition to nice appearance I was trying to find active dog and with cooperativeness and durability. After vizsla I took a bordercollie. The aim of taking a bordercollie was to have even more active dog.
So I have had dogs in our family as long as I remember, but Folt-Point-Pollach Bako alias Baki led me to dogsports. He was born in Hungary at 2005. We started obedience training on the supervision of Anu Oks at 2006, when he as already a year old. During the same year we started our agility training with Anne Tammiksalu. We have also participated in search and rescue training for one year. He has definitely been an awsome dog for introducing me world of dogsport.
Afterwards we tried rescue trainings for a year. When I wanted to take another dog I had to choose it to be more acitve and suitable to my hobbies. So at 2009 I broght home Roxy.Withe her I have done obedience, agility, sheep herding. She has delivered a litter in 2014.
In adition to my hobbies I have supervised trainings from 2010 until 2013. I have taught obedience and agility trainings. I had to finish it due to lack of time.
Daily I work as a veterinarian in Jüri small animal clinic.
